      Was it a lucid dream?

Right, yeah I'm new though some of you may know me from IRC, off-topic or reading the two posts in my dream journal () Anyway I may have had my first lucid dream(s)!!!! Skip to bit in red if you just want question:
Anyway I had a dream last night in which I was looking a a lamp, and continuously thinking
'Yeah, in my dreams there's never a plug', at which point I started looking for one, and then I found it odd when I found one, so I thought another thing 'Yeah but I bet it's not connected,' (lol I'm doing reverse reality checks ) at which point I found out it was connected, to the middle of the lamp .

Then I wanted to see if I could unplug it from inside the lamp and I manage! Suddenly I go 'wait a sec, I've been telling myself it's a dream this entire time! IT IS ONE! I manage to contain my excitement though, and turn round ready to try things, when my eyes are closed! I struggle to open my eyes in the dream without opening them in real life, but it is an extreme hassle, and I am awake, yet I manage to get a DEILD!

In the DEILD I woke up, and thought how annoying that is, and in habit did a reality check by pinching my nose, and I could breath! (Weirdly, beccause of my cold ) I was sitting there, thinking about things I could try when I woke up.

      Question

Anyway, I was certainly feeling awesome that I had them (especially a DEILD first time, epic win !) but thinking back, it felt weird. I felt as though my body wasn't actually there, but it was just doing stuff, like a normal dream feels, though I was kind of lucid.
So is this how Lucid dreams feel? Or is it just my recall messing up, or is it a fake Lucid Dream or whatever. Indeed the DEILD did feel much more realistic.....
Really hope this was the real deal

Well you said you knew you were dreaming in the dream, then yes it was. I had one this morning where it didn't feel right, but it was a lucid.
