Thread: My first lucid dream

Hello everyone. I've been reading the forum for over a month now. Thats also the time i tried lucid dreaming. After two weeks of writing my dream journal I got tired of it and stopped. But I didn't stop trying to lucid dream. My dream recall is about 2-3 dreams a night and it didn't decrease since i stopped writing dream journal. I had some dreams previously where i subconciously knew that i was dreaming but today i had the first real lucid dream. I must say it was amazing. It was so realistic. I was on a spaceship and even though i knew that it was just a dream, I still was afraid to jump out of the ship . One weird thing is that reality checks didn't work for me. I tried to push my finger through my palm, but it didn't go through. My hand was more like a rubber though. And then when i tried the watch reality chceck i woke up in the moment when i tried to looka at the time. There are so many things i'd like to try... Will I lucid dream more often now since I've got the first one behind me?
