Question Not sure if this was a Lucid Dream or not...

      Hey all im Jared.

Tonight was my first attempt at Lucid Dreaming. I woke up at 3:20 on my own, alarm was set for 3:30. I then when back to sleep with the intention of Lucid Dreaming and recovering my dream which was interrupted.

I tried imagining being back on the deck of the cruiseship at night in front of the buffet with 2-3 DC's, which was were my dream had left off. I managed to reconstruct the scene partially. At least try to feel like I was there. However, I was still in my bed and still very much awake. Maybe a failed attempt at a WILD?

Then I managed to sleep and I dreamed at least 3 more times, in every scenario as soon as I learned I was Lucid I'd wake up.
Just another newbie trying to Lucid Dream...

hi and welcome to DV! the general rule of thumb is that if you were aware you were dreaming while the dream was still in progress no matter for how short an amount of time this constitutes a lucid
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
