I don't really know the answer to this, but I say, give it a shot! It can't hurt to try. Many people carry over experiences from the dream world into the waking one. Just make sure you concentrate on what you're doing :-) |

Maybe when you do something in your dream (like jumping very high) your mind gets the general idea of how its done, and believes that you can do it in real life? Hey, I'm just throwing out my theories! |

Discovered Dream Signs: Strange Locations (I think)
I read in "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" about a tennis player who was just entering her first big tournament. The night before, she had had a dream about tennis, and her technique the next day was perfect. She won the tournament. |

well , if your dream is vivid enough the muscles you use in the action ( like running away from a frog-like human sized thingy :[ ) will activate your real muscles to a certain point . its something like a weak form of walking in your sleep. |

yellowlight is right. Lucid dreams don't help build muscle, they give you muscle memory. That means they can't make you stronger, but they can give you better technique. To test this, I'm going to (once I get better at controlling lucid dreams) learn how to juggle in a lucid dream. I don't think I've ever tried juggling before, so if I can master it in my sleep, I'll post it. |

It'd be interesting to see if this idea would work: I skateboard, and abig part of skateboarding is trying non stop a new trick that your trying to learn. Say you want to learn a kickflip.....it took me 2 months of practising every day to get that down. |
