I'd rather be asleep and living than awake and dreaming.
Another way to look at reality checks is as a self created dream sign. If as viat says you practice the RC until it becomes habit, then that habbit will transfer to your dreams. Hey presto - a dream sign that you associate with lucid dreams. So just keep doing the RC's when you're awake and let that other bit of your brain do the rest. |

Focus...if you get too caught up in the dream, you might get lost in it...be skeptical during waking life, so that your dream life will imitate that skeptical nature. |

You could also say that dreams are the reflection of waking life and visa versa. So you are to caught up in dreams, your to caught up in life. I have the same problem |
