So I'm new at this whole dream-awareness thing. Dreams have always interested me, and I don't remember how I first came upon the concept of lucid dreaming, but it's always been a dream of mine. I've had a grand total of three lucid dreams in my whole life
The first one I acheived just by keeping a dream journal and practicing those dream-question-trigger things (you know, like looking at a clock or your reflection in a mirror) throughout the day. It was a bit nightmare-ish though, and I remember being aware that I was dreaming and controlling myself throughout, but desperately wanting to wake up but not being able to. After that I quit trying to have lucid dreams. I had another one quite by accident about a year later, and it was so much fun that I decided to work at it. I'm currently reading what Charles McPhee, Andrea Rock, and Lisa McMann have written on the subject, and checking out websites and other such information sources. Hope to find some advice here as well
Peace.
