It can happen. Most of the music i hear is a combination of a bunch of songs. |

Hello, I'm a long time reader and have had lucid dreams many times as a child, and as a young adult today. My question is that as hard as I had tried, I could never get music in my LD. can it happen? I'm a Iron maiden lover, and alot of their songs speak of lucid dreams and dreaming of the dead. I would love to have one of their songs in one of my Lds. |

Cool, anyways do induce music in your LD's? I would love to listen to dance of death by iron maiden while having a LD of whats happening in the song. Kinda like your own music video lol if that makes any sense. |

In a lot of lucid dreams, I will randomly start singing a song I never heard before. Weird, because I never sing in real life (besides the occasional drunken karaoke). I don't remember ever trying to hear a song. I know I've had music playing before, or a song stuck in my head. |
Yea I've managed to do this a couple of times just by humming the song I wanted to hear. Just start singing it and expect it to 'play', and it will |
I find that listening to similar music to the song your looking for can help. For example, listen to a playlist where the you would expect the next song to be your preferred one before sleeping. |

dream of mirrors, infinite dreams, are 2 that speak of it few others, love iron maiden all their songs are based on past history and ancient times. horror plays and such |
A very noticable song in my dreams have been like a re-done version of Breaking Benjamin's Unknown Soldier. |
I've had music play in dreams before, though I've yet to have a lucid. |
I heard this Slipknot song in a dream of mine wich doesnt exist IRL but it was the best metal song ever, perfect lyrics, perfect drums, perfect guitar, perfect rythm |
Whatever happens~
hmm, i never thought of this before. I would love to hear Megadeth or Judas Priest in my LDs |
In some of my dreams a random song would pop up and it suits the environment well... strange -__- |
Sweet thanks for the replys all i'm do some research in this subject on how to induce it while ur LDing. |
I remember hearing music in my non-LDs |
Test to find a CD-player and play it. Maybe you'll have to find a CD of the song,i have no idea. |

Lucids since starting over May 20th 2014: II
I don't usually get music in my dreams, but sometimes. |
I play guitar. Years ago, I dreamed that Tool was playing outisde my house. When I woke up, I remembered the guitar riff and recorded it onto cassette. If this riff ever turns up on one of their albums, it'll be very freaky! |

Well I'm not an expert in Lucid Dreams, but I can easily start/stop/speedup/slowdown any music I heard, while I'm awake. And I don't think LD would make this harder. Actually I think it would make it easier, because the outer world won't distract you. I think try not expecting the music to play from some outer source, or by itself. Instead cause the music yourself. If You can remember it, you can play it easily, by making it louder. BTW: I never tried this myself in a dream, but while awake it goes easily. |
