      Amount of conciousness during LDs??

Yeah, I'm still a noob at LDing, so my question is how concious do you get during an LD? Can it be just as clear as waking life is, what I mean is do you feel weird at all. Like when one is under the influence, their thinking changes and is different from a totally sober state. Is this similar to lucid dreaming or will you feel 100% like yourself and have total control over your thoughts??

Im just curious, because it seems to me that thinking and having an inner dialouge during a dream wouldnt be the same as when you're awake, can anyone tell me about their experiences?

      Hey fersteger - good question

When lucid dreaming, you are essentially splitting your consciousness.
It often feels 100% real, and you feel completely yourself
However when you attempt to do things that you would normally take for granted, you realise that you simply... struggle.
A few examples might be : maths, medium term memory (what did I do yesterday), reading (although not a problem for me)
You don't realise these things until you attempt them - so it doesn't change the 'reality' of the dream

And no, you don't feel 'not sober'

Not sure about the inner dialogue, I've never thought to analyse the difference...
