Recently I've been able to notice false awakenings more by checking my clock and either noticing that the time keeps changing and the times being displayed make no sense, or that it is really blurred and unreadable and is a different color than normal(however when I'm dreaming I don't really notice that it's a different color).
But when I notice that I'm in a false awakening, I am too afraid to do anything. I am worried that I am just half awake and possibly not dreaming, or that I might be sleepwalking. I've had a night where I had about 5 false awakenings in the same night, but did not really do anything with them.
So I was wondering if there was any way to conquer the fear or to convince myself even greater that I am in a dream? I was thinking about just going to my bathroom and walking through the mirror so I'm somewhere else and would really be convinced that I'm dreaming, but I haven't had the chance to try that yet.
Also, do you think that it would be more likely for me to sleepwalk if I'm in a lucid dream at the place where I am sleeping? I've had no history of sleepwalking.
One more question:
My lucid dreams tend to be really short, any way to increase their length?
