      Good evening

      ... ladies and gentlemen.
Right. I'm new to this site, and I figured I might as well make an introduction thread here. Seemed to be the custom.

I'm a 19 year old guy from Norway, who (and this is the shocking part) thinks lucid dreams sounds like fun.

I'm not entirely new to the concept, as I've known about it since sometime in 2007 after a random encounter with a stray comment on an unrelated forum. Natural curiosity brought me, via google, to several FAQs and guides on lucid dreaming. However, when I'd been trying for what felt like a really long time (few months), with only two LDs (both ending almost before they began), I kinda forgot about it. Until now, that is.

      Thank you
      I'm sure I will.

Now, I have a question. I'm not quite sure which "induction method" I should put my first LD under, so maybe one of you can tell me.
I went to bed at the beginning of the night, and while lying unmoving in the bed. I repeated the words "What follows is a dream" to myself. While I was lying there I didn't notice any sort of (unreal) vibrations, sounds or images, or other hallucinations. Then suddenly, with no transition what so ever, I was standing in a room, aware that I was dreaming, and I did an RC.
So, was that a WILD or a MILD, or should I just file it under "other"?

Just one question: were you conscious while you entered the dream? Or did it feel like getting out of a daydream, only to find yourself in a dream?

I didn't "enter" the dream at all. One moment I was in my bed "saying" my mantra and the next I was in the dream. Like a movie cut. That's why I don't know what to call it.
