Or maybe you thought about nudity, and your dreaming mind stripped you of your clothes (because the dreaming mind has the attention span of a toddler), and you just aren't used to being naked in public.

There are no universal dream meanings. It's just a bunch of bull, as everyone is different. That and the fact that dreams are mostly random ideas pulled from schemas that were activated during the day.

After a brief scan of www.dreammoods.com, I didn't really see any credentials, or scientific evidence...

you should use this as a dream sign, every time your naked or missing clothes do a reality check!
