Hi! You've come to the right place. First thing you need to do, if you have not already done so, is to begin keeping a dream journal. You will remember more dreams as time goes on.

If you need any help, please be sure to ask!

      Welcome on board!

      Hey vicki - Welcome

Another recall tip - when you wake up, don't move out of position. Lie in the same position for a bit. First do a simple memory check or logic check that you're not still dreaming, and then go over the smallest bit of memory or feeling you have about the dream.
Go over it, and keep expanding it with questions like 'How did I get there?', 'What happened then?'

Once you have a good memory of the dream, go write it down immediately

      Good luck

Ok welcome to the forums vicki!

Dream signs are probably yur best bet, so try doing reality checks throughout the day, and as for those nasty dreams you cannot escape from, well a lot of people often realise it is a dream but dont know how to escape.
If you find you 'cannot escape' then you must realise you are dreaming, just follow up on that and think 'wait a minute, this is MY dream!' then youve got it cracked.
If you find that you cannot bare the ngihtmare any longer, you can just blink repeatedly to wake up, but i would reccomend you just laughing at the nightmare, it sounds corny but if you do, then you wont be afraid of it, and then you can go ahead and whup its ugly beyotch ass.

I think all new people who find out about Lucid Dreaming need to read Stephen LaBerge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" as the bible to Lucidity, also a cool book to check out is "Lucid Dreaming-dawning of the new light" by G. Scott Sparrow. You can buy the LaBerge book from amazon really cheaply these days.
