      Smile Hello

Hello, im also new to the forum. Been fascinated about lucid dreaming for a long time now, but sadly never had the time to get involved into it. I recorded my dream last night (or atleast what i could remmeber lol), not too much, only a few scenes, but it looks promising, im very optimistic. Just gotta be persistent.
The only thing thats bothering me is the journal, i mean i like the writing stuff, but waking in 4 am and writing things down in it while i can barely keep my eyes open. Its a nuisance. Anybody maybe have a better idea or a tip. Tried recording, doesnt work very much for me, cuz my voice is awful in the morning, cant understand a word i say lol.
Oh yea, and can somebody please explain the basic terminology or point me to a thread about that. I saw alot of DC terms, lol im guessing that stands for dream creatures?
Oh yea, almost forgot, i was watching something about some dream entities in a show couple of years ago, and it really really freaked me out. Are they real? lol Anyways im really freaked about it when it comes to dreaming, will it maybe affect me in any way and in my journey to lucid dreaming? Thank you.

Here is the thing for the DC stuff: here
And about riding in your dream journal in 4 am. Instead of writing the whole thing try writing down key elements of the dream that you think will help you remember it in the morning. About the dream entities, I haven't heard of it but you could try asking Shift about it, If it's about things in your dreams that can hurt you I'm pretty sure it's a lie. Oh almost forgot to DV! Feel free to ask any questions you would like, bye!

Looks like lucidwannabe took care of alot of the questions!

At any rate, welcome to the forums! And you should try asking some of the Beyond Dreaming regulars about dream entities. I would say that I don't buy into them, (never seen one,) but there are some believers over there.

I have a very similar problem with recording in my DJ. But even if your dream is hard to read/hear in the morning, I think that that's okay. The biggest reason to DJ is to force your mind to record your dreams and thus excercise your dream reacll, anyway. So it's not that big of a deal.

      Sincerely,
