      4 is pretty good, make yourself a nice dream journal, that will help you get lucid more often. Try the MILD and WBTB techniques if you haven't alreayd, they are the best for newbies

      I really want to do the WBTB, but I guess when I wake up, I don't remember it.

      You want to wake up before you dream for WBTB. If you wake up after your dream, then you have to wait until your next REM cycle, which is less productive. Figure out when you wake up naturally (this is after your dream) then set an alarm for 20 minutes before that.
