I get isolated sleep paralysis too...there are a couple of other people who get as well. It's a good gateway to work on Wake Induced Lucid Dreams. |

I've been here a lot to read about dreams and im glad to see others that have as much fun with there dreams as I do. I was just wondering how many of you wake up in your sleep paralysis state? This is a problem I developed a few years back and it used to scare the crap out me at first but now after reading this site I've noticed that I can take control of my dream from that point. I'll explain for some odd reason I would fall asleep straight into the state of paralysis but once I knew I was paralyzed instead of trying to fight it like I use to and wake up, I'd just close my eyes and roll out of the bed and start doing some amazing things. But the state was so hard to hold it only seems like a couple of mins before I wake up. This is what lead me to find this site. I never really read up on out of body experiences but I don't believe I was ever having one just dreaming lol. I look forward to trying out all the techniques on this site and who knows maybe sooner or later ill be able to help people with reaching of lucidity. Thank you all. |

I wake up in SP occasionally, but I wish I could have it more often. I will be working on it. |

I think my SP happens too often. I realized that if I lay in the position that I was in the first time I had it that day It would happen again everytime I fell back asleep. I just can't seem to stabilize the dream for too long or somebody wakes me up. |

It's awesome that you've learned to put it to use, unfortunately a lot of people suffer and never learn to atleast milk the lucids out of their sleep paralysis. I don't get it regularly, and it's usually not as frightening. One of the worst times was the first, where I woke up paralyzed and had no hallucinations. It was the worst because I thought I'd hurt myself in my sleep and would be paralyzed for the rest of my life |
