      New dreamer

I am new to this site and new to lucid dreams. I actually just started reading about it today and I'm going to start working on dream recall and dream signs. I was actually attempting astral projection before but was unsuccessful each time. I think that astral projection might just be lucid dreaming, or lucid dreaming might be astral projection.

I don't think you should put astral projection and lucid dreaming together. There are a lot of members that hate when the 2 are put together because the two are separate things.

well, most people here consider "astral projections" are actually just "false awakenings" or FA's. basically you dream you wake up and if you realize you are dreaming then you can do cool stuff- just like in a regular lucid dream

That is exactly many peoples opinion. I consider it a very valid one.

You should post in the beyond dreaming section if you'd like to discuss astral projection, or other supernatural abilities.
Or perhaps the private deep dreaming section, for a more 'secure' environment. PM an admin (DuB or Man of Steel) to request access.

And welcome to Dreamviews, enjoy your stay~

Check out the beyond dreaming section for more on astral projection. Lucid dreaming is just in your mind, but your mind is full of insanely awesomeness.
