Hello all!

Just wanted to say hi and that I'm very excited to start lucid dreaming. I have never been able to remember my dreams very well. However, after hearing others talk about their interesting dreams, it made me want to remember mine.

I had heard of lucid dreaming in the past but never took the time to study or practice it. I read this website yesterday (the tutorial) and I started working on it right away. Throughout the day, I repeated to myself that I would remember my dreams. I also did several reality checks at work. When I went to bed last night, as I drifted off, I repeated that I would remember my dreams over and over in my head until I was asleep.

Last night I was able to remember three dreams! I didn't use a journal, but instead as I woke up several times throughout the night, I tried recalling the dream and the details over and over in my head until they stuck. I still remembered them in the morning.

My dreams were as follows:

1. I was playing frisbee in the park with someone who looked like a ghost (very transparent silhouette). Very short and uneventful.

2. I was walking in a park with an umbrella. Very short and uneventful again.

3. I was in an unfamiliar house and a very attractive girl approached me. I did some sexual things with her (not sure if it is appropriate to post the details on this board) and it was really nice. This is when I first realized that I was lucid dreaming because I was able to control what actions I took with her. I then walked into another room and told some guy about the experience. When I walked back out, there was a red-headed nerdy teenager dancing to some odd music. It was pretty funny so I just laughed. Then I woke up.

Needless to say, I wasn't expecting such drastic results the first night. I will continue to practice and hopefully it will get better with time.

Look forward to many future posts!
