      Possibly my first lucid dream?

I think I had my first lucid dream, and it was a DILD. I wanna bring this up here and see what everyone thinks, to see if it really was or wasn't a lucid dream.

So, In this dream i'm in this sort of Post-Apocalyptic, Fallout 3 (look it up if you don't know, it's a game) type of world. There's all these rough guys sitting around at tables and I'm apparently working this type of tavern as the bartender. I'm really nervous 'cause they're all giving me evil stares and i'm afraid for my life.

Then, this girl I know personally whom I hate walks in and looks me dead in the eyes. I look back saying nothing, and she points a revolver at my head. I start freaking out but stand still shocked. She shoots. I think, "Oh god! I'm dead!" but then realize I'm still thinking so I can't be dead and then it suddenly hit me I thought "This must be a dream!"

At this point everything was white and fuzzy, no real place. I started spinning, i think, because I wanted to stabilize it. I ended up in a a huge room with white walls and lunch tables, basically a huge lunchroom with sun shining through the walls. Everyone there was just standing perfectly still expressionless, a bit creepy.

I pointed to a perosn, whom i recognized as my best friend and pointed to the doors of the lunchroom and said "Leave." He just slowly walked out the doors. I realized I had "powers" and started doing things but eventually I must've been to engrossed in how happy I was to be lucid because the peoples faces started to disappear completely, just blank heads with hair, and they started retaliating, and trying to grab me.

I tried spinning again and pounding my hand on a lunch-room table but that didn't seem to help. After that there was a sudden jolt and I screamed, unconsciously as loud as I could and everything went bright white. I may have continued dreaming, i may not have, all I remember next is waking up and remembering that dream to every last specific detail including how I had felt.

I'm pretty sure this was a lucid dream, but I want to make sure and see if I showed common symptoms of a specific type of dream or something if any experts knew. Thanks for all the help guys! If you need any more info, feel free to ask. Cheers!

if you had that moment where it just hit you, "I'm dreaming", then it was definately a lucid dream. That's what this looks like to me, especially since you made DC's do things, and had these other "powers"

Thanks for your input! I value other peoples opinions greatly! Also, I didn't realize this was my first post. I've been a long time lurker for about...maybe a year. I thought I had posted before but I guess not, haha.

yeah definitely lucid! you realised you were dreaming, did stabilizations and took control/command of dream characters. Towards the end you seem to have lost some control though- if you loose lucidity the dream might not seem as "real" later in comparison to waking up while lucid, however those are petty details- you gained lucidity, and you will gain lucidity plenty more times if you try- that I guarantee!
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

Great! It's good to here! I've been slacking on my Dream Journal lately but i'm going to get back on it! I'm gonna study up on my techniques too, just in case. Thanks for the input!
