      Existing vs created control

Do we have separate terms for these?
What I mean is, in my dreams, I generally have something that was sort of induced without me really thinking about it (like superpowers), or that I induced consciously (by thinking "I really want superpowers in my dream tonight").

However, there's also the kind of control that's spur of the moment, where, in a dream, you might say "Now I will fly".

I guess I'm saying in my dreams I generally have the former, where what I can do is sort of written in stone, and I just "feel" that I can jump really high again if I want to, vs the very conscious effort of actually saying "And now I will have the power to jump high".

Do we have different terms for these? I think it would be useful to distinguish between the two kinds of control.

      Direct and in-direct, most likely.

but.. they're both direct really, one's just...
and now I've just thought of two words that could work: "passive", and "active".
