      New person here

Hey everybody, I'm new here! I think it's pretty cool that there are a lot of people who have interest in lucid dreaming. My interest in LD has been growing since I've started paying attention to my dreams and occasionally having lucid dreams. I have about three weeks worth of recorded dreams in my dream journal so far, and my dream recall has improved dramatically. Hopefully I'll start having intentional LD's soon.... which brings me to a question... How long after you started your dream journal were you able to start having intentional LD's?

Hey bro, welcome to DV, enjoy your stay!

I started a dream journal and that lasted me 2 weeks until I relized that my dream recall is GREAT. So I stopped. After 2 months of practice is had my 1st LD.

So are you able to have intentional LD's on a regular basis after two months of practice?

It varies A LOT! Some people get one in a week, some people get one in a month of two. It also (like any other skill you develop) depends on how much effort you put into it. If you read about lucid dreaming non-stop, think about lucid dreaming all the time, spend alot of time analyzing your own dreams and dream signs, Reality check often and with determination... Well, then chances are bigger that you will get one soon.

For me it took 8 days... I have spent a whole lot of time on these forums though...

I don't think many people can manage to get LD's on a regular basis after 2 months pratice... It's all about determination though.
