Hi everyone, My name is Deb I'm an instructor of Middle Eastern Dance. I'm also a college student majoring in psychology. I recently had to do some research on lucid dreaming for my speech class and did a speech regarding lucid dreaming. All the lucid dreaming research opened my awareness and I was able to start remembering 3 dreams a night. I began using a re-affirming statement related to lucid dreaming: "I wish to be lucid tonight," and in only the course of 4 weeks of research, I've been able to have 4 lucid dreams. I've always been fascinated with dreaming and in the past I kept a dream journal. I didn't know much about lucid dreaming, for the interest I had in the past was more based on remembering my dreams and writing them down on a dream journal in order to analyze them. I became interested in lucid dreaming when I read about it on this website for the first time, this is when I began doing my research. The four lucid dreams were amazing. On a funny note, in one of my first lucid dreams I experimented just for fun with dream control and closed my eyes wishing my hair would get longer and when I opened my eyes, it happened! lol I also wished I could fly in a lucid dream and it happened. I want to keep having more lucid dreams, and practicing with dream control. I hope I can learn a lot from everyone one here. Thanks!
