Yes, it absolutely does, though I recommend that you don't rely on the pinching as pain is sometimes absent but very often present in dreams, and having only one reality check can cause you to miss lucids as one failing may mean you miss a lucid opportunity, whereas having a couple of backups might let you catch it and also means you're spending more time and effort thinking and questioning during your RCs. as shift shift said don't rely on pinching yourself, in my opinion it is the worst reality check as it can easily fail. You feel pain when you pinch yourself in reality so you will more than likely feel pain in a dream when you pinch yourself. I suggest using the nose pinch reality check, the one where you pinch your nose and try to breath through it, if you can breath your dreaming. I love that reality check because it cannot fail unless you are sick with a stuffed nose. |
