Ho Pauldack,
I do write all mine down in a dream journal by hand, but I also type longer ones, or ones that bring up a lot of information or feelings, into the computer afterwards, and save them online on an old closed yahoogroups list that I used to have (you could open one just for that purpose by listing it as an invite only list), so if my computer crashes or gets lightning struck, I still have them available. I find that the process of typing them in often brings up a lot of material that I forgot when I wrote them out by hand, so it's a good thing! Typing also seems to open up the interpretation process for me, though I don't quite know why. Sharing them does that as well.
You can get light pens to write in the dark with. I know the IASD's bookstore has those available at their website.
Other than those and voice recorders, I don't have any new ideas.
