      A false awakening?

So I woke up this morning at around 4:30 because I was lying on my back (an uncomfortable position for me). I tried to roll over to my left side, but I couldn't because my legs were twisted in bedsheets and my body felt reeeally heavy. On top of that, my husband kept grabbing my shoulder and pulling it toward him so I would turn to the right and face him instead.

But I wanted to turn to my right so I could grab the dream journal on my night table and write down all the rich details of all the dreams I'd just had. We tussled for a few minutes before I was finally able to wrest myself out of my dozing husband's clutches and turn to face the night table.

After all that effort I was so tired I just lay there dozing, slipping in and out of sleep until the alarm woke me fully up at about 5:20 and I got up to do yoga. I realized then I could remember only fragments of those strange, intricate dreams I'd been having.

Later, once I'd finished yoga I crawled back into bed with my husband and our baby, I asked him why he had been so grabby at that hour of the morning. He had no idea what I was talking about. And my husband isn't the kind of guy who does weird things in his sleep... (That would be me.)

So, what do you think? False awakening?

To me the only thing that makes this sound like it may have been a false awakening is when you said you felt really heavy. I often experience this when i have a false awakening. I will be lying in bed and my body will feel impossibly heavy and it will be difficult to move. Other than that I'm not really sure.

Ugh I hate it when I'm not sure if its a false awakkening or reality. Happens to me all the time. The thing is since I just "woke" up from a dream I'm less likly to do a reality check. But anyway... if you continue doing all this dream stuff, the was that a false awakening or even emmm was I in a dream or in reality when so-and-so did something. Honestly, dreaming can make you crazy. You might never really know if your clutchy husband was reality or not.
