      Hi

Since the very first time I got Sleep Paralysis (I never thought such a thing existed) ive become more interested in dreams and have been looking for a place where I can understand them better and share my experiences and this site feels like it is the one.

Steps you need to take if you're interested in lucid dreaming (I know you haven't because you only have one post.)

      - Go through the tutorials if you haven't already.

      - Start a dream journal.

      - Spend some time going through the dreaming part of the forum. Dream Recall, Lucid Aids, Lucid Experiences, etc. etc.

      - Maybe become adopted. An adoption is a mutual partnership between an older member of DV and a newbie who wishes to learn. The newbie should make a thread specifying what he/she needs, and somebody will adopt them. This can be found in the "adoption program" part of the forum. Beware that you should be here for two weeks before trying to be adopted.

The next step to having an enjoyable experience is to jump right into the community. I love the members here and it's one of the reasons I stick around.

      - Get an avatar and signature. Most people will remember you by this until you get on a name-to-name basis.

      - Post in The Lounge, especially in Senseless Banter.

      - Just make good quality posts and you'll be well respected.

Hope I haven't swamped you with too much information. Welcome, and enjoy your stay.
