      Post Hello everone from ONESO

I want to introduce myself. I'm 21 years old. I have been studying lucid dreaming for about 3 years. During that time, I participated in many forums (not english). A year ago, I've created my site about LD. We friendly discussed the LD. We were about 250 people on that site. But now I have left the site.

I too love the English language. By the way, I am from Russia. I know DV for about 2 years. I registred here earlier. I like the DV. Thanks to creators of this site.

At that time I was hard to communicate, because I knew English badly. But now, I am actively learning it. Now I study at the International English Language School - "English First". May be you heard about it. I wish to pass exams TOEFL, IELTS.

I'll be too happy if someone can help me at first time in correcting my messages, if I'll write something wrong.

And so, I'll tell you about my practice. During all this time I saw a lot of LDs. I am always interested in effect of "Out of Body experience" (OBE) . I wanted to know, why people see too real pictures, what people think - it is real, or may be it is real?! At one time I almost believe in them. But now I continue to learn it. It was an interesting experience. I felt it very diffently than in the LDs. At first, I got SP from LD and then I flew.

      That's it.

Hello ONESO, and welcome to the forums!

It's cool that you are learning other languages. The most I've done in that field is take the required school semester of German. Hehe.

If OBEs interest you, you may want to check out the 'Beyond Dreaming' forum. People discuss them a good bit and are willing to discuss whether or not an OBE is real or fictional.

Your SP LD sounds like a WILD, which I'm sure that you know since you've done a good deal of research on LDs, apparently.

We are glad to have another someone who will be able to intelligently discuss LDing from experience and research. That's neat!

I'll see you around the forums.

      Hi Oneso

Lol I've been gone for awhile I'm finally back though.

Hi Oneso I too am studying a foriegn language (Japanese 2 years) great job at becoming so good.

As for your interests. If you like OBE's I recommend looking for the book Astral Dynamics By Robert Bruce I have not read it yet but Ive heard it provides a lot of good info on OBE's and Astral projection. You can buy it online at amazon .com, look at your local library, or if your technologically savy you can find it online just Google search "Astral Dynamics PDF".

I hoped I helped you in some way man. Good luck.

I don't count these as true lucids because they where not very clear, but until I have my first real lucid these will do.)

Your english is easily understandable but since you asked for corrections and I can't sleep, here's your first post with the parts that don't quite sound like a native speaker corrected. Just remember that whenever someone corrects your grammar, they tell you how they would personally choose to express what you are saying if it were them speaking. I personally have a tendency to include long words where they are not necessary.

At that time my english was too poor to communicate effectively. But now, I am actively learning it. I study at the International English Language School - "English First". Perhaps you have heard about it. I hope to complete my TOEFL and IELTS.

Note: You should probably ignore this paragraph. I'm not sure that I have correctly interpreted what you were trying to say.

I'll tell you about my experiences. During my study I have experienced many LDs. I am very interested in OBEs. I would like to know more about people's beliefs concerning OBEs and similar experiences. At one time I almost believed in them, but decided to continue researching the subject before reaching a conclusion. My personal experience of OBE was an interesting one. It felt very different from a normal LD. I induced my first LD using the SP technique, and was able to fly.

      That's it.

      That's it.

      Hello everyone!

Native Dreamer, thank you for book, but I have already read it in my native language. At the begining of my practice, I have read a lot about LD, OBE. My first book, witch I have read was "Astral travel for beginer" by Richard Webster. It is a good book. At that time I did not know about neither LD, nor OBE. This book have just turned my mind to the world.

Hello, Lith and ultranova! Lith, thank you a lot for correcting me! Although, you have changed meaning of my text. I hated this SP. I didn't want to get it.

Yes, ultranova said is true. I have created website, where I gathered people. I wanted to try to create other own system (content management system, CMS). But I have decided to spend more time to learn English...

      Thank you!

      Hi, everybody!

Coud anyone tell me what is difference between two sentence 'I bought a house' and 'I have bought a house', please?

Just imagine, that I bought a house in 2000 year. If I want to tell how many years ago I bought the house, I say 'I bought the house 9 years ago', and if I want to tell when I bought, 'since 2000 year', I say 'I have bought the house sinse 2000 year'. Sometimes I see simply sentences without any definitions. What difference is? Could you explain the difference between past simple and perfect simple, please?

You would NOT say "I have bought the house since 2000 year." You would say, 'I bought the house in 2000', or 'I bought the house in the year 2000', or I have OWNED the house since the year 2000. (the verb "to buy" is improper in this instance.)

"I bought the house." is past tense, meaning an action that took place in the past.

"I have bought." is present perfect tense.
"I had bought the house by the time they arrived." is PAST perfect tense.

The difference really is that generally the past tense is in reference to something that is fairly recent. Such as:

I ate an apple for lunch. PAST TENSE

I had eaten an apple for lunch (yesterday). FURTHER in the PAST. (perfect)

I have eaten an apple for lunch (before). ("I have" is present tense but the statement has nothing to do with something that is currently taken place, or something that has taken place before.)

Both state actions that you have done or did do, but the PAST PERFECT refers to an action that happened when something in addition happened as well.

I hope this makes some sense, and I'm very sorry if it does not.

cloud9wannablucid, Thank you for trying to help, but I'm sorry, It is not very clear for me. I know rules both of this tense, but something, I don't know what it is exatly, but I can't choose the tense. Well, if I find this sentense where I'll doubt, I'll write it here.
      Thank you!
