      Hello!

      Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the boards and I dream fantastically! My first lucid dream was when I was very young. Maybe around 7 or 8 years old. I would have terrible nightmares and my mom explained to me that all I would have to do is say 'Stop!' in my dream and the nightmare would disappear. Of course, at first I couldn't do it. Then I could but I would wake up right away. And eventually I would be able to become lucid, stay in my dream, and change the nightmare to something more pleasant.

I eventually stopped having the nightmares and kinda stopped caring about making my dreams lucid. Now that I'm older, I realize how amazing lucid dreams are and how lucky I am to attain them relatively easily. I do still get lucid randomly (last lucid dream a week or two ago), and I remember my dreams if they aren't lucid about 95% of the time, but I want more! That's why I joined this forum. I can control some elements, but I want more control. And I'd eventually like to share dreams.

Also, I'd like to save my non-lucid dreaming friends the annoyance of me constantly talking about my dreams and get it all out somewhere where people understand.

Whew. Ok. Long Introduction. Anyway, Hello!!

Hello =] Welcome to the forum.
I could do a similar thing when I was younger too. In fact it is really common for a child to have lucid dreams. It's not until you are older when you understand the full implications of it.

Hope you find what you need here. Be sure to check the tutorial area
