Thread: Is this the girl of my dreams?

Well, she's a girl, and she's in a dream, so she must be a "girl of your dreams." Dreams often create really high emotions in people. You can fall head over heels in love with a sandwich, be enraged by the sun, or find a pad of post-it notes absolutely hilarious. So this girl was probably just a random girl made up by your subconscious, or maybe a stranger you passed in the day. I wouldn't make too much of it, but maybe next time you see her you can... you know.

Who really knows man. Though I think your breaking down of the dream is somewhat interesting and have had some fun telling friends and family my most terrible nightmares and seeing if they had a take on them, I really don't pay much attention.

Like the person above said, its the subconsciouss, who knows from what, where or why it conjures certain things. I have found alot of meaning behind some of my dreams, but don't believe any of my conclusions to be true, because the fact is I will probobly never, ever REALLY know whether they are or not.

The last couple of months I haven't been in a relationship with a girl, nor have I met new girls that I feel attracted to. The result is that I sometimes dream about being with someone, and it really is a random girl... She's pretty and I'm always deeply in love and we're just cuddling on the bed or something but it's never someone concrete, it always feels like I've never seen that girl in my life.

What I'm saying is, it's not because you see a girl in your dreams you haven't seen before and you're feeling deeply in love or attracted to her, that's it's 'the girl of your dreams' that's actually out there in the real world. But don't sob, it feels great in the dream doesn't it? And even then, perhaps she really exists, we can't really know for sure...

The last 2 times that I talked to women in my dreams, I thought that they were the perfect girl. You get aroused far more easily in your dreams, so you think that they're super amazing. Your subconscious also creates girls that appeal to you.

That is certainly a very interesting dream.

I've always felt that dream interpretation is (for most things) relative to the person. If you feel like the fish was the biggest catch, then that's probably what it was. It's your subconscious giving the message, and your subconscious controls feelings too, so if you "feel" it's the biggest catch, that's probably your subconscious making that connection to what it said before.

A warning, though: if you reached a conclusion about what something meant by analytically thinking about it, then you could well be wrong, because that's a conscious decision. Just try and mentally feel what you felt in the dream, and put the image of the dream sign in your head, and see what you feel it meant (that's just how I do it).

Also, I've noticed that something I thought in a dream often seems ludicrous upon awakening. I've seen a number of girls in my dream, and fallen head over heels for them, and woken up and realized they weren't my type (as Conkt said). If you STILL feel that way about the girl, then you'd better hope she exists.

i dreamed some nights ago a girl , i know her for a long time , she liked me but i wasn't very interested in her. anyhow i dreamed her and i my dreams she seamed the perfect girl for me and so on ..even after i woke up for some time i still had the feeling she was perfect but then i realised she's just how i know her , nothing more
