Try doing it before you go to bed. I have pretty bad dream recall, and I've been trying for nearly a year but never really LDed. One thing that does have tangible proof of working for me is autosuggestion BEFORE I go to bed. Try that. |

I do everything that I'm supposed to. I reinforce the idea in my head but whenever I wake up, I cannot remember my fracking dreams! How can I improve my dream recall? |

My adoptee had trouble with remembering dreams. I told her to do this - |

^^^ Agreed. |

Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
To remember my dreams when I wake up, I find that lying in the exact position that you woke up in and not moving helps me to remember my dreams. |

I tried all of these last night and still got nothing! I'm going to give it one more night and if I don't have a dream tonight, I'm giving up on DV and ever having an LD. |

I understand your frustration, because I had horrible dream recall. I would maybe remember one dream a month, which would soon be forgotten. I found a method which works for me, a helps me remember a dream every night, and sometimes more. When you wake up, you may find that your thinking about something, you may also be thinking, what did I dream about? Ignore this and let your mind wander. After a few seconds follow your train of thoughts backwards, EX. What was I thinking a second ago, and how does it realate to what I'm thinking now? Eventually you should get to your dream. |
