      Introduction

      i have some questions...

does anyone relate to any of this stuff:

      i love hiking and backpacking.

      i love nature.

i listen to grateful dead and joplin and stuff like that but also many other kinds of music.

      i smoke bud.

      i love to write.

does doing drugs effect lucid dreaming or any kind of dreaming?

about a year ago i started a dream journal and my recall was about two dreams a night. my first try at lucid dreaming i think it was the wild technique that i tried. i relaxed my body and muscles and i focused on an invisible rope which i grabbed onto with my mental hand or whatever you call it. after a while my hearing started to fade and i could feel a vibration. my heart started to beat really fast and i could feel myself getting really anxious. the whole time i was telling myself to go up and fly around in space. i think i almost achieved lucidity but i dunno....

Well, to answer your question, I really don't know. But I'm sure some of the junkies of DV will be glad to answer your question.

And well done on achieving SP. Did you enter a dream? And if you did, were you still concious/knew you were dreaming? Because if you did, you were lucid.

I think you are mixing two things up - LD (lucid reaming) and AP (astral projection). I once tried to escape my body as well - I also got a little scared and stopped - it felt like body started to vibrate a bit and focus went really strong.
      LDs = 8 (DILD 6 ; WILD 2)
Last Achieved Goals: fly [xx], summon an earth elemental [/], go on a Moon [x] have at least 2 LD in February [x]
Next Goals to Achieve: make a deal with unconscious to have LD during every nap[ ], meet a dream guide[ ], complete TOTM[ ], Visit Pandora [ ].
You have a LD tonight !

No no no no no, you weren't confusing them. I think insight just didnt understand what you said.

@insight, what he was talking about was making the move from the real world to the dream world.

LD is what this site is all about - LD (lucid dreaming) is when you are aware during your dream that you are dreaming. You don't have to control it in order to call it a LD.

AP is when you are actually aware that somewhere is your physical body and you are in another place. Some say that you may actually in a dream visit some places where you have never been in your life and when you get there for real, you understand that you really saw the place ! Like remote viewing... but I haven't experienced it. So in this field I'm a philosopher.

Check this for the local language:
