Am I having lucid dreams

This morning I dreamed that I was having a relationship with a women. I began to realize that this was a dream. Excited, I suddenly awoke and looked around my room and tried to pick up where the dream left off. Unfortunatly I couldn't bring myself to pick up where the dream left off and became fully awoke. Was this a lucid dream? And if it was are there any techniques I can due to stay lucid? thankyou

Welcome to DreamViews, Rahul! Yes, you had a lucid -- a lucid dream is any dream in which you know you're dreaming, even. What people try to do then is to realize that they're dreaming early on so they can do all sorts of fun stuff that they couldn't do in real life. Flying seems to be a popular thing. You might wanna try it. As far as techniques, there are plenty to choose from in the Tutorials forum. For getting lucid, mind you -- which might be useful to you as well.
