Thread: WILDing while dreaming.

Last night was probably my most interesting dream experience yet. I started off having two interesting dreams and then I had a false awakening. I woke up in a random house and my friend was sitting next to me. I told him that because I just woke up and I was still tired that I was going to try to WILD. I lay back down and closed my eyes. I saw images exactly like when you are falling back asleep. At some point after this I decided I was lucid even though the dream world was not fully developed. The exitement was too much due to the fact that I believed I had accomplished a WILD. I actually woke up after this. I was dissapointed that I didnt do a reality check after waking up the first time. I will always remember to do that now.

Yes, it is an excellent idea to start doing RCs every time you wake up. Even if you know you aren't dreaming, do one anyway. WILDing within dreams is common and nearly always leads to lucidity. Remember to keep your cool and stay calm once you become lucid. Good Luck to you!

Yeah, I came out of a lucid into two FA's last night... but I didn't do my RC's until the third time I had "woken up"...but I was actually awake that time. I'll be getting in the habit of doing RC's whenever I wake up agian.
