      Studying over dreaming?

I wanna ask something, hope you guys don't mind it.
Okay, my last LD was on September 29th. Apparently, that was the last dream I could remember as well. Since then, my Dream Journal has been lying dormant.
My exams started the next few days, so I had a lot to do for last minute preparations coz I hadn't studied earlier.
So, is there any relation between studying hard and dream recall and LD ability? Have any of you guys noticed this, or is it just me?
I hope I'll get dreamy soon enough, now that my exams will soon be over
And its not that I didn't want to get lucid, I said to myself every day that I'm gonna LD tonight, but it just didn't work out.

If you have a lot to study I guess you'll be under a lot of stress and stress kills DR.
TODAY is the greatest day of all!!!

Same goes for me aswell I think. A couple of days earlier this week I had to stay up real late to get an assignment in on time and I found it much harder to remember my dreams (I didn't wake up after each dream like I usually do either).

It's also probably the fact that dreams matter less during this state.

      thanx for your replies guys!
So how would I be able to get around this problem? Its not possible for me to bunk my exams (I don't even want to think about what my parents would do to me if I did).
How do I go about improving my dream recall during such times?

Grown ups dream less because they are under more stress than children they have more issues to worry about, stress is a dream killer

It might sound stupid, but you should probably start studying earlier then you have less stress of doing a bad job at the exams and you might have a greater chance for having a lucid dream

The idea is not stupid at all. Its just that, even if I study earlier, the course is so huge that just one quick revision takes hell lot of time, and I get only 1 day for preparations between two consecutive exams, which means all the less time for me to revise everything.
I think one way around this problem is to have a "don't care about results" attitude, which will be a little hard for me
