      Cool I'm new...!

      Hello all fellow americans!

I am new here and I just wanted to say a friendly hello.
I also have a couple questions about lucid dreaming.

I have been looking up lucid dreaming for over a month now and have been very intrigued by it. I have tried to do MILD but it didnt really work out for me, so i just decided to give up lucid dreaming for a little while. Suddenly, last night i finally had a lucid dream!! It wasnt one of those amazing lucid dreams where I was flying in the sky or something, but it was one where i knew i was dreaming. Here I will tell you...

So in my dream, I was sitting down with a bunch of people and we were talking. Then one of the people tell me that my religion is this weird one that i do not think exists in the human race. LOL. so i knew to myself that that wasnt true and then in my head, I mildly thought in my head that I was dreaming. I didnt say it out loud, but I thought it. So then I stood up and spun around a couple of times(to make sure that i would stay in lucid dream) then I started to look around and find one of my friends that was in the dream already. When I found her, all i remember is that I forgot I was dreaming and totally forgot about the lucid dream until I woke up

Annoying right? But at least I finally got one!

So here is my questions... Was that really a lucid dream?
When someone randomly lucid dreams, will they have more?
How can I improve on getting more lucid dreams?

Thanks so much for your time and happy lucid dreaming!!

      O Canada!
      Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Yes, I would consider that as a lucid dream. I have those too. Like I'm thinking about it, but I always get distracted, then loose the thought within my dream. And when I wake up, I kick myself. Haha, but yes, you should expect more lucid dreams. Now your mind is finally getting what you're shooting for...If that makes sense?
      Hehe.
      xD

Hahah yes! Finally a lucid dream!
Thanks so much for your input. One more question.... Should I just keep doing what I was doing (which is not think about lucid dreaming) or since I have had one now, Should I start researching more about lucid dreaming now?

I would research it, and pay attention to what you dream. And get a dream journal if you don't have one already. Those really help. (:
      Don't just forget about it.
      Lucid dreaming takes dedication.
