      Question about sleep paralysis

Does it happen at once or gradually?

I mean, today when I tried to WILD I felt my hands becoming numb, it was a weird feeling, I don't know if it was sleep paralysis or nothing at all. (I failed that WILD after 20 minutes of trying, had to scratch myself )
In the name of science, question EVERYTHING !

This happens to my every time I try to WILD. I believe it is the early stages of sleep paralysis, because I still have the ability to move my hands after the feeling of numbness, though not as properly as I usually can.
From what I've read so far, you would know when you're in sleep paralysis. I've experienced it once, when I woke up in/from a dream, and I sure as hell knew that it was sleep paralysis.

      Perhaps this might help -

Yeah, the slight numbness is the early stages of SP/transition to the dream. Once SP is in its full, it is hard to mistake for something else. Sometimes, SP is very brief and you may not get more than some intense vibrations. Other times you can get full blown hallucinations. I find that each time I enter SP it is a relatively unique experience (hallucination-wise anyway).
