Having beautiful lucid dreams and meeting my guide

      Hello everyone

I've spontaneously been having lucid dreams all my life, but lately, since I've decided on trying to actually induce these dreams, they are becoming very, very vivid and I find I have complete control over them. I often dream of waking up and then realizing I'm dreaming after all. I usually just enjoy flying around and listening to some beautiful and relaxing melody that is always playing in my dreams. I can't recall this melody when I wake up, but I'm sure it is the same music in all of my lucid dreams. I usually have a feeling of complete happiness and bliss, ecstasy even, and a feeling of a presence of a higher consciousness. Lately, I have been dreaming of turning into a dove or having angel wings growing out on my back or instead of my arms. Last night I also had this kind of lucid dream, in which I saw a large tree blossoming with beautiful white flowers. The wind started blowing then covering me in these flowers. It bloomed three times, every time in another color (white, green and yellow). Number three is also a recurring number in my dreams (once I dreamed of three windows opening up on the sky and me flying through them). But the most interesting part of this dream, for me, is that in it appeared a man I never saw before, but was somehow very familiar. He was handsome, around 40 years old, grey hair, in jeans and a checked shirt. Somehow he seemed very polite and nice, even we didn't communicate or speak in the dream at all. I heard of lucid dream guides before, do you think this could be mine? And how do I invite him into my dreams again?

Thank you in advance .Your help is truly appreciated

Welcome to Dreamviews! He may, very well be your dream guide. Through my experience, the best way to summon/invite someone into your dream, is to go looking for them. Just think about the person and search around corners to find them. It works much better than just trying to make someone appear out of thin air. You could also try calling his name as you search for him (you can give him a name if you don't know it). Once you find him, see if he can help you with lucid activites/tasks/etc. If he is your dream guide, he will be able to help you out in your dreams. Good Luck to you!

How do you meet your Dream Guide?
Will he/she come to you, or do you have to find them?
      I'm confused.

"Dream Guide" is more of a loose term in my opinion. It really depends on the dreamer. Some people have multiple dream guides, some have only 1, and some have none. Dream guide is a term used for a DC who helps you obtain lucidity, or teach you the ways of the dream world. You can make your own dream guide if you want to. Alot of dreamers just happen to find a reccuring DC who often helps them with lucidity/lucid activities, and they dub him "Dream Guide." I have only saw my dream guide once, and it was the very first lucid I had after joining Dreamviews! They can be a good thing to have, because they often show up in normal dreams, which can cause you to become lucid. They can also help with tasks/actions that you wish to perform within your dream.

Thank you for your reply It really seems like you have a lot of experience with lucid dreaming. I will try t do just as you said, give him a name and try looking for him in my dreams. The only problem is, I don't become lucid every night. It might happen 2 or 3 nights in a row then I have these normal non-lucid dreams. But I'll be patient and we'll see
