      Problems W/ My Lucid Dreams

Every time I have a lucid dream, it's always the same. I'm laying in my bed on my right side, facing the wall. It's almost as if my eyes are open, because I can see everything, but I'm still trying to open them. I realize I am dreaming, but I can't move. I've tried wiggling my toes (some sites say wiggling your toes allows you to move or transports you to another place or something) and I always try 'opening' my eyes.

In my most recent lucid dream experience, I was in the same position. I kept hearing a vibration like pulse, and somehow I knew that this was the 'pulse of the Earth'. Then I opened my eyes and had a false awakening and sat up, quickly realizing that I was still dreaming. I saw wavy lines in front of my eyes and noticed a light that was coming from outside that corresponded with the 'vibration'...

Now I realize that after I 'woke up' I probably could've gotten up and walked around and stuff.... but why is it that I am stuck every time I lucid dream?

It seems like you lack confidence.
When you find your self in this position again, try to change the scene. Don't be afraid to try things out. Experiment with your mind. Try teleporting yourself somewhere else. And make sure you're standing up with your eyes open. ;]
I've had this problem before, too. I would be standing up, though. But I was unable to move. No matter how much I tried. Even though I've only had 2 lucids, I come across this problem alot.

Hm... Well I will admit... times before this, when I had the same lucid dream, it felt as if something was sneaking up on me, like Satan or something. I'm not religious at all... I do believe in God, but not Satan. However I did feel like "Satan" was creeping up behind me... Now I think whenever I have this lucid dream I get this same feeling of something being behind me, and I'm scared to move.... I'll try to change the scene or something next time, though.

EDIT: I did have one Lucid Dream where I was in a room a bunch of my friends and some girls... I was talking to one of the girls, then suddenly I looked to the left at one of my friends and said with a big smile on my face, "Dude, I'm having a lucid dream!" and he just smiled at me, then I woke up.

To Banana... I'll check that out, thanks.
