      help me out?

      I want to start this whole lucid dreaming thing, but I need to get this phrase out of the way first.

      I had a dream a while back. It was just like anything else (the real world, except heavily distorted and parallel) and it all just seemed like a giant blur. That's normal. There was this part of it that was incredibly lucid, and it bothers me to this day! I have no idea what it means. It was on an album cover my mom bought me (in the dream). It said "Shady Government Magic", and the artwork of the cover did not match the phrase. It was sort of abstract, I can't explain it. I think about it now, and it looked kind of subliminal. Or like it had some deep meaning. It's kind of haunting. I initially thought it was just my inner feelings of the government coming into my subconscious, but for some reason I can't dismiss it as being just that. Can someone help me decipher what this might mean?

      Sorry to sound cynical, but I think of dream interpretation in the same way as I do examining a pile of vomit on the pavement: you can find deep meaning in it if you really want to.

      When I wake up from a dream I think is "deep and meaningful" I like to think it's my perception of the dream that's the real hallucination, rather than the dream events themselves.

      That's interesting. I never thought about it like that. O_o; Thank god, though. This was kind of wierd for a while. But is it possible that there could be meaning in it, like what I subconsciously think or something? Or is it really just all in my head?

      It could mean whatever your sub conscience wanted it to mean. If you really think there was something to that dream post it on a dream interpretation forum section if this website has one. Happy dreaming!
