      R.E.M question

If I was to wake myself up halfway through a dream, would I go straight back into r.e.m sleep? If so could I try to W.I.L.D

Probably not immediately into one. But after waking yourself up during a REM cycle, you would go back into REM alot sooner. That is why most people WILD by setting an alarm to wake them up 4-5 hours into their sleep cycle. Most people aren't successful with naps. So yes is the answer to your question.

      Oh, and welcome!

thank you for the reply. Would you happen to know if It would be better for me to wake up mid cycle or after a cycle. I wake up after every cycle anyway so would it be better to wait?

Personally, I would prefer to wake up mid cycle since I would have a better chance of jumping right back into the REM. But if you wake up frequently throughout the night anyway, I don't see why you wouldn't want to use that to your advantage. I'd try out both ways multiple times and see which one works better for you.
