If I was to wake myself up halfway through a dream, would I go straight back into r.e.m sleep? If so could I try to W.I.L.D |

Probably not immediately into one. But after waking yourself up during a REM cycle, you would go back into REM alot sooner. That is why most people WILD by setting an alarm to wake them up 4-5 hours into their sleep cycle. Most people aren't successful with naps. So yes is the answer to your question. |

thank you for the reply. Would you happen to know if It would be better for me to wake up mid cycle or after a cycle. I wake up after every cycle anyway so would it be better to wait? |

Personally, I would prefer to wake up mid cycle since I would have a better chance of jumping right back into the REM. But if you wake up frequently throughout the night anyway, I don't see why you wouldn't want to use that to your advantage. I'd try out both ways multiple times and see which one works better for you. |
