      Question LD Hereditary?

      I talked to my mom earlier today about her dreams and whether or not she's ever had an LD and she said that she usually has vivid dreams and she has had several LDs although she isn't actively trying or anything, it's just natural for her.

      My DR is usually 2-3 per night but I don't believe I've ever had an LD before but when I do recall dreams, about half of them are pretty vivid, even though they're all over the place.

      So I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if having LDs is something that is hereditary. Like if my mom has vivid dreams (about 50% of the time) and LDs (about 10-20% of the time), would that be any indication of how easy I can attain an LD?

      My mom had some WILDs and OBEs and her dreams are very very vivid, so maybe there is a connection between lucid dreams and genes , I don't think it's been researched yet. O and my dreams are also vivid
      LD = > 50
      Dreams recalled = >30
