Hey guys, My names Shay. Just found this site while doing a little google searching work on Lucid Dreaming. While not technically new to lucid dreams, I have been off track for the last few years...and slowly am getting back to it. I first started lucid dreaming when I was about 16 years old. I was very in touch with the universe it seemed, lucid dreaming was very common and I brought myself into it a dozen or so times. When I turned 18 I took a misguided path, and long (and horrible) story short after becoming addicted to methamphetamine for a year and a half I finally kicked it (Drug addiction free since march 2005). I suppose in my journey I seemed to have forget about lucid dreaming, you know how life sometimes takes a hold of you and things become less important sometimes. Regardless of this, I had been thinking over the past 6 months here and there wondering why I don't seem to recall ANY dreams anymore. Not even regular ones. This bugged me. Last week I decided I wanted back into lucid dreams. I remember how much they meant to me and how much I learned from them and how connected I felt with everything. Anyway, now i'm here. I seem to be having trouble getting back into a lucid state, but i'll post that i the correct section. Nice site you have here guys, looking forward to discussing everything here with people on the same level for once. Doc
