      Wierd Sleep Paralysis

I'm not sure what category this goes under, but it was partly sleep paralysis. I woke up while i was still in a dream, (it was me escaping from prison)
I woke up but i couldn't move for awhile. then i was able to open one eye and the dream faded away in that eye, but my other unopened eye could still see everything. has this ever happened to anyone?

uhhh....no... but the closest that i've had, was during a lucid, it was ending, and in the dream i attempted to stand up, i was still in the dream but the real me stood up in bed rather than the dream me, then i woke up, standing on my feet...

I never heard of what you are describing, but it is common for you to be half in half out of a dream as it is fading away for a few seconds.

Strange! And yeah, must have been an odd feeling. I've never heard about this before, but maybe you were just dreaming everything?

When I was a kid I would have dreams I coudn't move, or maybe couldn't open my eyes or talk because I felt so tired for some reason but everything around me was still happening. And as far as one eye open thing- maybe, you really partially opened one eye and were seeing your actual vision of darkness in your room but still engaged in your dream? I've done this and dream I see things in real life and realize later it was all a dream.
