      Introductory Thread Here

Hello all fellow Dream Viewers, this is my first post on the forums.

I'd like to start off by saying I have experienced only one full on lucid dream so far, and that was a week and a half ago. The previous week I had been studying and researching lucid dreams for some time, and I put some of the tips and techniques I found on the internet into action. And then low and behold, I got one.

But since it was my first lucid dream, I wasn't used to the real life-like experiences you can endure, and as soon as I started to float, I held onto a fence beside me for dear life. Then gravity went vertical, and I fell 'down' (sideways) for a while until I began to get into it a little bit more.

But enough about that. The only reason I said anything about that was to show that after that lucid dream, I have become more focused and intrigued to learn more and become more experienced in lucid dreaming, which is ultimately my goal. I will be trying to post regularly and hope to have a chance to meet and talk to you all.

I hope I'm welcomed, and thanks for reading.

Side Note: Jalik is my gamers name from several accounts across the internet. It's pronounced: Jah-Lick

Welcome to Dreamviews! Congrats on your first lucid and I'm sure there will be many more to come. Be sure to check out the tutorials section if you haven't already, http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25 . I also suggest starting a dream journal and keeping it updated as much as possible. It will help you build some nice recall. Good luck in your future efforts!

to DV. That first one is the hardest, so it's good that you've already had one. Check out the tutorial section below for anything that you might need, I recommend starting with DILD and Reality Checks Feel free to ask lots of questions.
