Bollocks.
I woke up (testing different times everyday), stayed awake for a while thinking about becoming lucid. Then I go back to bed with my headphones on playing a light white noise (which i use as my anchor). I relax myself using head to toe visualization and heavy breathing. And lay absolutely still from the start. |

Well. I would suggest trying a later time, to begin with. Sounds like you were just coming out of REM, that's why you took so long to get back into it (a reasonable assumption.) |
