Dream Guide

What is a dream guide? I saw this post of one of the fellow lucid dreamers his name was Nsquared. He said that while he was LD'ing he summoned the dream guide. So what or who is this dream guide?

A Dream Guide (also known as DG) is basically a recurring DC (Dream Character). They are normally bad tempered as what I have heard so far (That's all I know so if somebody could help me out I would be greatly appreciated). Just incase you get mixed up we also have DG's on Dreamviews that help people out.... but I'm sure you already know about them ~Haz

Wow, I get more and more useful everyday, Dreamguides, are reprisentations from your subconsious that will help you in your dreams in any way they can, Clarity, my Dreamguide is a bit angry, but I can be angry myself, they tend to have the same personality as thier dreamer. I hope this helped. Now spirit guides are a different story. ~Alex

Just as anything in your dream. If you obtain the level of lucidity to control the dream Characters, then a dream guide can be anything you want it to be. It is just easier for the mind to put a lable on the character.

How does the DG help you in your dreams? Do you just ask them something like: "How can I fly?" and DG tells you?

Well, in my experience, Clarity has told me several little things like caool ways to change my body and how to do it (ie. grow wings) or has helped when I'm trying things for the first time, like a time reversal.

You may also not get an answer at all. To me it seems rather random. I guess it depends on wether or not your subconcious is willing to doll out the information that you request or not. Either way if you do not get an anwser or not the one you want don't stop asking!!

I thought i might just want to throw that out there! 8)
