      encouragement

      Hey all,

      I've been trying to have lucid dreams for a LONG time, but without a whole lot of success.

      I've had a few lucid dreams, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when it happens. It sometimes seems like the harder I try, the worse off I get - sometimes even keeping me from falling asleep.

      Could use some encouragement...

      Try not to get so worked up and stay casually focused. If you get your expectations too high, you could end up disappointed and frustrated. Just be patient and wait for the dreams to come to you, don't force your way into the process.

      Anytime I try the techniques I get excited and my body kind of wakes up from the adrenaline rush. Especially when I try the WILD techniques.

      i have the same problem, i'm guessing its just a mater of time getting use to it. i've had three LD's now where i've realised im dreaming i can however hold it for longer now before waking. Spinning is supposed to help, but hasn't for me yet.

      You can do it! Yeah!

      Read A LOT about LDing and focus on it throughout the day. Usually helps.
