Way Later In Life Dream Recall?? Help Please!!

Ok, So Im New To This Site, And Im Gonna Try And Explain This Without Confusing Myself Or Others!!:p Lol!! Every Once In A While I Will Recall Dreams That I Had About A Year Or Several Months Back. I Dont Keep Journals Or Try To Remember My Dreams And I Dont Know That When I Had The Dream I Remembered It At That Time Or Not. Ok So Like Today I Was Doing The Dishes And All Of A Sudden A Dream That I Had A Long Time Ago Came To Me, Just A Certain Part Of It. But Its Funny Because I Remember It Or Its Just As Fresh In My Mind As When I Was Having It. This Is So Crazy And Strange To Me And Is What Led Me To Do Some Searching For Help To Find Out What This Is. Im Thinking That The Dream That I Had Was Trying To Tell Me What Was Going To Be Happining To Me In The Future And It Came Back To Me At That Time Of Recall To Tell Me What It Meant ( Because My Dreams Are Far Out There And Most Of The Time Dont Make Scense) Anyone Know What This Is Or Have Any Suggestions For Me? Look up a book called the 7 roads of thought. Essentially, you are being cued from your environment or your thought process, to recall a related or meaningful incidents from memory. Dreams are memory so you pulled that one up. You now need to figure out what was the cue that made you think of the dream. Example....saw an orange and thought of a orange tree...then orange juice...then a pitcher because you have your orange juice in a pictcher....then ice because you have ice in your orange juice all the time. i know that is sort of difficult to get your mind around. But you will find after a while of always questioning your thought and where they came from, that you can isolate external stimuli from your own internal.

This is typical. Many times I will forget a dream but something I see during the day will all of sudden trigger it and I remember everything about the dream. It's nothing unusual or special it happens to many people. And It Is Not Neccessary To Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word. You can type normally.

Washing dishes is a monotonous routine that allows you to daydream. I often get very vivid flashes of a dream while actually washing dishes! And yeah, several times those were the dreams which I had a long time ago. Funny, though, I thought it only happens to me, now I see it was silly to think that.

I have a few dreams that I never wrote down but have always remembered, and might never forget. I guess this is the same for you. It's normal anyway. If you are saying that you never remembered this dream at all before, and then remembered a month later, that's just weird and I doubt that it is possible.

It's harder to recall what you are actually writing from all the capital confusion that it is most of my dreams. Haha.

Sometimes I will feel like I had a dream multiple times before when I really havn't. I have the same random recall too. I realize I had a dream months ago in school because I day dream so much :p
