New here, with a lovely experience :)

Hi, I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of months and only now have I decided to register :]

I'd like to thank the heavens for a forum like this, because everyone I discuss lucid dreaming with outside the internet never has any idea what I'm talking about, and when I explain it to them, they aren't interested.

Anyway, I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming. I started this months ago and on average I probably have about two lucid dreams a month.

Around two weeks ago, I was sick, so I took a bath (A BUBBLE BATH, TO BE EXACT) and felt COMPLETELY relaxed. I was so relaxed I literally felt as if there were no wrong in the world. I didn't want to leave my bathroom. :[ I don't think I've ever felt that great.

I went to bed a couple of hours later, fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night. I immediately made myself think, "LUCID DREAMING, LUCID DREAMING!" and fell asleep in seconds. I ended up having 5 lucid dreams with 3 false awakenings.

Coincidence or not? If not, that's my new technique from now on, Bubble Bath Induced Lucid Dreaming (BBILD)

Well im glad to hear that you had success with that alot of times, results like that happen because lucid dreaming is the most prevalent thing on your mind. So in a way, you thinking about it so much made them occur. It works for some people that are new to it, but eventually you will need to rely on a technique. Being relaxed does have alot to do with LDing though. A stressed worried mind literally cuts the chances in half, so just have a free clear mind and be open the world of lucid dreaming and all the fun it can bring. I wish you the best of luck
