      Hey Simon!!

      First off: [size=18][b]WELCOME TO DV!!!!

Secondly have a look at the Quick Start Tutorial for any help.

Thirdly some of my own tips:

      1) Keep a Dream Journal and get better recall

      2) Do reality checks

      3) Make sure you get enough sleep

      4) Practice at induction methods (WILD, MILD etc.)

      And that's it

      Hope to see you around

Welcome, Simon! I see Haz has beaten me to welcoming a noob (again ) but that's okay with me. If you haven't read through it, the main page introduces a lot of principles behind LDing. Then, as Haz said, check out the tutorials and look through them to find a method that could work for you. Try it for a while and if it doesn't work, move on to something else. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and if you need to, you can PM myself, the other Dream Guides (DGs), mods, or any other friendly ppl you come across. I hope to see you around and I wish you success!

      Sweet Lucid Dreams!

      Hey simon!

Read the tutorials, theyre basically the main core of this site, researched techniques, things we find out (dreaming is an unexplored state of mind, theres lots of things we have found out) and other things are listed there.

Anyway, welcome! dont expect your first decent LD to come too soon, for most (and for me) it took a month of trying. just practise consistently and persistently and eventually you will have a LD to play around in, your own lil sandbox for a few minutes.

Try different techniques, alternating between them after a week of each, start with MILD, then work your way up to trying WILD. dont switch efore a week, though. it takes practise and perseverance to get these, but when you do have one, its all worth it.

any questions, can be posted or PMed to me.
